WinWatt Agros2D thermale bridge calculation assistant module

The Sun module is purchasable as an add-on to the following versions of the WinWatt heating package

This module basically helps cooperate with the Agros2D program. Agros2D can be download from the next location http://www.agros2d.org/.

Basic layouts

The module generates the Agros2D Python project file, updated with the different basic layouts and the parameters that can be specified. Currently the basic layouts are available.

r1 Connection of wall and ceiling Wall and ceiling connection + attic r5
b1 Balcony plate Pillar built into the wall p1
c1 Positive wall corner Negative wall corner
c5
f1 Wall and internal ceiling connection External and internal wall connection iw1
iw6 Ceiling and internal wall connection Doors and windows built into walls w1

Wall and internal ceiling connection example

We simply specify the layers of the wall, even by loading data from an existing structure.

screen

We provide ceiling data in the same manner. Here, some layers are not allowed into the wall, giving the appropriate correction.

screen

Additional layers can be added to the end of the ceiling.

screen

All this can be checked in a simple figure. When done, the model is saved for Agros2D.

screen

In Agros2D, by loading and running the project file, we get the calculation result.

screen

You can also save a diagram showing the temperature distribution and heat fluxes to document the calculation.

screen

In WinWatt, the final documentation for this structure looks like this.

In some cases, we may not be able to create the model in exactly the same detail using the Agros2D module as we would like. Even then, it can be a great help to be able to create an approximation model in this way, because this way you can enter more details in Agros2D with less work.
